We also ventured out to the Miami Zoo one morning and only managed to get around half of the zoo.
With about 5km of walkways (over 3 miles), we will be sure to rent out their cool safari bicycles on our next visit. We didnt get them on this visit because the little kids sit in a basket type seat up front which is not shaded. I forgot a hat for Jodi and it was a scorcher of a day, so she stayed in the shade of her umbrella stroller. It will definitely be a better view for her from up on the front bike seat! They also have a monorail and a cute little "Safari Train" which we can also try out on future Miami Zoo visits.
Jodi really enjoyed the Zoo and pointed out many of the animals that she had spotted to JP and I.

We had a wonderful time at the zoo and much to Jodi's delight, even got to watch the pelicans being fed right up close! Couldn't resist the photo op below =)
