GCBS

This is more than likely going to be the first of VERY MANY posts / photos / references to the Grand Cayman Beach Suites (GCBS).

JP decided to get us a family membership at the Beach Suites hotel, one of many hotels along the famous 7 mile beach. Fun Fact - GCBS was formerly the Hyatt and it featured in the movie "The Firm" (1993). 

A few of our friends live in apartments along the beach and the majority of the apartments have a pool too. We are not on the beach and don't have a pool, so JP decided to get us a trial membership at GCBS for the rest of 2013! I know that we are going to be spending many wonderful family hours on the beach and next to / in the pool (and possibly some dips in the jacuzzi too!). It's fantastic to be able to make use of all the facilities. We are provided with towels (it's a small thing, I know, but it makes a huge difference when packing your bags and having to deal with wet towels on a regular basis when you get home), showers, bathrooms (great when you have a 2 year old) and lying on all the comfy beach / pool loungers that have a sun shade too (no more lugging brollies).
