Most people plan to come to the island for two years, but then stay longer.... some longer than others... so we're always meeting new people and making new friends. The sad side of this is that a lot of friends leave and we are left with only great memories of our times together on the island (and of course travel destinations for future visits and catch ups!). Katie has left the island to head back to Texas with her hubby, Scott, and precious daughter, Arianna. We met back in February 2011 when our weekly baby group started, our little ones were all about 4-6 months old (Arianna in "future runner" onesie) and have all been seeing each other on a weekly basis since then, watching each others' little ones grow up. Katie was kind of the one who brought us all together! I also had a special little bond with Arianna because she is a doppelganger of my 2 year old self!!

I will miss you Katie, thanks for all the great hangouts, catch ups and general mommy chattery that went on, it's great knowing you, you are an amazing mom and we hope to visit you all in Texas one day!
